Established in June 2021, by Gary Hughes and operating as a sole trader, Advance Water Training has provided high quality National Water Hygiene (EUSR) training to thousands of satisfied customers. As a result of the growth of the business, In November 2024, Advance Water Training Ltd was born.
Our small team of trainers are highly experienced water industry professionals and are approved by Energy & Utility Skills.
We’re passionate about helping to protect the nation’s water supplies and we are enthusiastic about sharing our knowledge and expertise with you.
We offer cost effective National Water Hygiene and SHEA Water training with regular course dates on weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Meet the trainer.
Gary Hughes has over 20 years experience working within the water industry and has been delivering National Water Hygiene training both face-to-face and online since 2017.
Much of Gary’s career has been spent working in water quality. His knowledge and expertise are recognised, by the industry, through his membership of the Institute of Water.
“I feel any training is most effective when it is delivered in a relaxed environment. People are more receptive to learn when they feel at ease. When delivering training, my goal is to ensure that all learners, receive the knowledge they need to work safely in the water industry and pass the end of course assessment.”
